I can't believe that my play is going up next weekend. Scary. Hope it doesn't suck.

Then the week after it's Skinny Puppy in Denver, then Thanksgiving.

Then a few more weeks and I (hopefully) graduate. Eeek.

Tonight one of my old professors from Casper College is coming to give his opinion of the play.

Many of my friends have been recomending Bubba Ho-tep Sounds quite funny:

Based on the Bram Stoker Award nominee short story by acclaimed author Joe R. Lansdale, Bubba Ho-tep tells the "true" story of what really did become of Elvis Presley. We find Elvis(Bruce Campbell) as an elderly resident in an East Texas rest home, who switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his "death", then missed his chance to switch back. Elvis teams up with Jack(Ossie Davis), a fellow nursing home resident who thinks that he is actually President John F. Kennedy, and the two valiant old codgers sally forth to battle an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds.

Plus Bruce "Don't Call me Ash" Campbell is in it!

At times my mother and I don't have much in common . . .

Mom: Counting Crows where on NBC this morning, but you where probably still asleep.

Me: We'll, yeah. But I don't really care for them and I don't watch TV . . .

Mom: So what do you do?

Me: What do you mean?

Mom: During the day? When you're not working, if you don't watch TV?

Me: I work on my computer, type stories, plays. I paint, read.

Mom: Okay, it's just I like to relax when I'm not working . . .

Me: Reading is relaxing . . .

My mom really does enjoy her TV. My dad too. Right now the big ones are Deadwood and Sopranos.

Chatted with Normal Bob (and others) online. Had a salad. Talked to Matt on the phone.
